Anne received a B.A. in Psychology with honors from Mount Holyoke College. She worked in the mental health field, attended graduate school and graduated from Boston University's dual-degree program with a Master of Social Work (MSW) and a Master of Public Health (MPH). Professionally, Anne has provided holistic psychotherapy and counseling to individuals, couples, families, and groups with a focus on health promotion and disease prevention. She is a Licensed Social Worker (LSW) in the state of Pennsylvania. As a clinical social worker, Anne views others' struggles from an ethical and cultural context in addition to a bio-psycho-social lens. Anne earned her Reiki II mind-body certification in 2006. She was among the initial 2016 class of Functional Medicine Certified Health Coach Candidates at the Functional Medicine Coaching Academy, a certification program affiliated with the Institute for Functional Medicine (IFM), and approved by the National Board for Health & Wellness Coaching (NBHWC). Anne was one of a select group of student coaches recruited to coach IFM employees in a summer corporate wellness "health boost" program.
